Permethrin 1% lotion

It is used in the treatment of head lice where insects lay eggs on the head which are being spread by contacting someone who has an infestation. This medication generally helps in killing and paralyzing the lice by preventing them from laying eggs onto the head.

How to use Permethrin 1% Lotion?

Shake the bottle before use of this lotion where it completely saturates the hairs and scalp with lotion, start applying the lotion behind the ears to back of the neck while avoiding the contact of eyes. Eyes should be protected by cloth in order to apply it, then leave for 10 minutes but not more than this and after this rinse the hair with warm water and dry the hairs with warm water and comb out.

If lice is observed in the first treatment which is of 7 days then second treatment should be started.
