Ondansetron syrups

In cancer or radiation treatment, nausea and vomiting is the basic symptoms. So, this medication is used to trat vomiting and nausea. It blocks the natural substance which target vomiting.

How to use ondansetron oral?

This medication can be given after the food or before the food.

• Before the procedure medication should be consumed by 30 minutes before
• If child can’t drink out the syrup, then again after 30 minutes, give the syrup but doesn’t repeat or double the dose.
• Shake the bottle before use
• Always use measuring cup in order to get the accurate drug in the cup instead of spoon.

Dosage

4 mg should be given to 4- 12-year-old child before 30 minutes of any surgery and then after 8 hours next dose should be given.
